What Goes Into These Rankings?
The Stacker article draws from Niche's 2023 school rankings, which evaluate schools using several factors, including academics, student and parent feedback, extracurricular activities, school resources, and overall school environment.
While academic performance carries significant weight, the rankings also consider the broader student experience.
Of course, rankings are just one piece of the puzzle. Every student has different interests, strengths, and educational needs, and the best school is ultimately the one that provides the right fit.
Schools and the Homebuying Conversation
For families considering a move, researching local schools is often an important part of exploring a new community.
But there's more to choosing a hometown than a school's ranking. Commute times, recreational opportunities, neighborhood character, housing options, and proximity to family and friends all play a role.
Southern New Hampshire offers a wonderful variety of communities, from the small-town atmosphere of Hollis and Brookline to the conveniences of Nashua, Bedford, and Merrimack.
Understanding what matters most to your household can help you make an informed decision about where you'd like to live.
