New Hampshire is Home to 4 Best Beaches in New England

Four NH Beaches Just Made Yankee Magazine's Best of New England List, and It Says a Lot About Why People Love Living Here

If you needed one more reason to brag about calling New Hampshire home, here it is. Yankee Magazine just released its ranking of the best beaches in New England, and four Granite State favorites made the cut. You can read the full story from the Granite Post here: 4 NH beaches named among New England's best by Yankee Magazine.

Here's who made the list:

Hampton Beach State Park, Hampton. Miles of clean white sand, live music, boardwalk eats, weekly fireworks, and movie nights on the beach. It's the classic New Hampshire Seacoast experience for a reason.

Carry Beach, Wolfeboro. A quiet, kid friendly spot on Winter Harbor at Lake Winnipesaukee. Shallow water, lifeguards in season, and a peaceful setting for anyone who prefers their beach day without the crowds.

Odiorne Point State Park, Rye. Rocky shoreline, walking trails, and the Seacoast Science Center, where kids can hold sea stars and learn about the Gulf of Maine. A wonderful alternative to a traditional sandy beach.

Wallis Sands State Park, Rye. A beautiful arc of sand with views of the Isles of Shoals, plus picnic areas, a shop, and a bathhouse. Pro tip from Yankee: reserve your parking spot ahead of time.

Why This Matters Beyond Beach Season

As a Realtor serving Southern New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts, I hear the same thing from buyers again and again. They aren't just shopping for a house. They're shopping for a lifestyle. And New Hampshire keeps delivering.

Recognition like this is part of why demand for New Hampshire real estate stays strong. Whether it's oceanfront living on the Seacoast, lakefront homes on Winnipesaukee, or a family home within an easy drive of both, quality of life is one of the biggest drivers of home values in our market. When buyers relocating from Massachusetts and beyond ask me why so many people are moving to New Hampshire, lists like this one make my job easy. No state income tax, no sales tax, top rated schools, and now four of New England's best beaches too.

If you're thinking about buying a home in New Hampshire, or you're a homeowner curious what all this demand means for your property value, I'd love to chat. And if you're already lucky enough to live here, I'll see you at the beach.
